911 Cell Phone Bank

In May of 2004, CellForCash.com created a program that provides an ongoing and readily available source of 911 cell phones and funds to meet unexpected and urgent needs of participating law enforcement and affiliated agencies. On January 3rd, 2007 we received notification from the IRS that the RMS Foundation Inc. has been approved as a 501 (c)(3) Public Charity.

Since the inception of the cell phone, thousands of different models from scores of manufacturers have been produced and with each New Year comes hundreds of new models. For the laymen, distinguishing the value of donated cell phones is impossible. For the experts at CellForCash.com, it's our business.

Generous donors are well wishers. Their desire is that the receiving organization gets the most value out of their donation. Our knowledge of the cellular phone market allows us to determine how your cell phone donations can be maximized; providing 911 cell phones AND funds for participating organizations.

We gladly accept phone donations. Get a free mailing label by clicking here. using

How Does It Work?

  1. Participating agencies will collect cell phones from their communities and send all collected cell phones, postage paid, to CellForCash.com. After receipt, CellForCash.com will determine the "best use" for each phone:
    • Cell phones that hold a high market value will be converted to cash. For every cell phone converted to cash, CellForCash.com will donate one working 911 cell phone from its inventory (as available).
    • Cell phones that are best suited for emergency use will be added to an inventory of 911 emergency phones.
    • Unusable and damaged phones will be responsibly recycled.

  2. Participating Agencies will receive the cash value of re-marketable cell phones AND have access to the inventory pool of 911 cell phones to benefit victims or citizens in need.
