OAKLEY RAZRWIRE Bluetooth Eyewear

Oakley Motorola Razrwire Bluetooth EyewearThe new Oakley RAZRWIRE Bluetooth Eyewear is the first eyewear to combine Oakley optics with Motorola Bluetooth technology. RAZRWIRE lets you take advantage of the best eyewear technologies on earth while enjoying the freedom to communicate without being tethered to your cellular phone. The RAZRWIRE wearer gets the comfort, clarity and protection of patented Oakley optics combined with third-generation Motorola Bluetooth technology.

With RAZRWIRE, the technology you need is part of something you’re already wearing. A hands-free link to your cellular phone is always at the ready, and there’s no need to remove it between calls like a conventional headset. The Bluetooth module can be moved to either side of the frame, and the speaker is easily adjustable. RAZRWIRE frees your hands by letting you use a cellular phone without holding it to your ear. The new Oakley RAZRWIRE works up to 33 feet away from your Bluetooth enabled cellular phone. Just press the multifunction button on RAZRWIRE to answer your calls instantly. No more digging for your cellular phone or fumbling with a clumsy headset. If your cellular phone supports Dial By Voice, you can use RAZRWIRE to place an outgoing call without even touching your phone. RAZRWIRE lets you access an array of advanced cellular phone features with just three buttons. You can also adjust volume quickly and easily.

"Seamless mobility is here, now with the availability of RAZRWIRE," said Bruce Hawver, vice president of companion products, Motorola's Mobile Device business. "Motorola and Oakley are bringing innovative wearable technology to life. With this one-of-a-kind Bluetooth-enabled mobile eyewear, active consumers can stay connected while moving from one environment to the next."

" We are excited to be the first wireless carrier to offer RAZRWIRE."

RAZRWIRE will have limited availability but expect to see the new RAZRWIRE Bluetooth eyewear at select Cingular Wireless retail stores and online at the Cingular, Motorola and Oakley websites in early August 2005 for $294.99. This includes the sunglasses, Bluetooth module and a wall charging unit.   RAZRWIRE will initially be available in three color frame/lens color combinations, including Platinum/Gold Iridium, Pewter/Black Iridium and Mercury/Gray.

Wider distribution of RAZRWIRE will include additional Cingular stores and Oakley's own retail stores and sunglass specialty locations later in the third quarter 2005.
