A number of phones have been announced for the upcoming holiday season. A summary of ten of the more interesting offerings follows. The phone model name is followed by the carrier name and expected availability.

Tilt (AT&T, now) Full QWERTY keypad with tilt touchscreen and 3 megapixel camera, Stereo Bluetooth, MP3 player, and quad band technology for global use.
Motorola RAZR2 (most carriers, now) The iconic RAZR gets a makeover and is even slimmer, with a 2 megapixel camera, high speed data and a huge external screen.
Motorola RIZR Z6tv (Verizon, now) Popular slider phone series now available for Verizon, offers a 2 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, and the ability to stream TV, music and video.
Samsung Gleam (Verizon, now) A stylish flip phone with a high gloss finish, 2 megapixel camera, high speed data, Bluetooth and expandable memory.
BlackBerry Curve (T-Mobile, now) Available in titanium and pale gold, the T-Mobile version of the Curve offers Wi-Fi, a 2 megapixel camera, and is quad-band for international roaming.
Samsung Beat (T-Mobile, now) A music-optimized phone to enable users to carry their tunes with them at all times, the Beat also has a megapixel camera, video capture & playback.
BlackBerry Pearl (Sprint & Verizon, November) The very popular phone, with BlackBerry’s best-in-class email solution, becomes available for CDMA technology carriers.
LG Rumor (Sprint, November) Available in blue/black and silver/white with a full slide-out QWERTY keypad offering one-touch access to messaging.
LG Juke (Verizon, by Thanksgiving) Available in navy, teal and red, a very slender, music-oriented phone with a swing out keypad.
LG Voyager (Verizon, by Thanksgiving) High-end phone with external touchscreen, full QWERTY keyboard, HTML browser and high-speed data.
